Biden apologizes to Roberts for oath of office joke

Joe Biden already made to apologizes about a little joke he made about the guy who going to decide if americans could be implanted with microchips.

Biden couldn’t pass up poking fun at Chief Justice Roberts last week.

(CNN) — An aide to Vice President Joe Biden tells CNN he called Chief Justice John Roberts last week to apologize for a light-hearted remark he made over the flubbed Inauguration Day oath of office.

“My memory is not as good as Justice Roberts, Chief Justice Roberts,” Biden said last Wednesday, as he asked for a copy of the oath he was using to swear in senior members of the White House staff.

Several staffers reacted to the comment with groans and laughter, though President Obama, standing next to Biden, did not crack a smile.

It may come as something of a shock to those millions planning trips to Washington for the Jan. 20 inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama that he isn’t really legally capable of taking the oath.

It’s the birth certificate thing.

That’s because he was born in Kenya to an alien father and isn’t a natural-born American as the Constitution requires and the copy of his Hawaii birth certificate looks fake to many and the state won’t release the original, which makes everything that much more suspicious.
